We collaborated closely with a large non-profit organization on a comprehensive, five-year engagement. Our involvement encompassed a multifaceted approach, overseeing all aspects of the organization's advancement and fundraising efforts. This included cultivating relationships with existing and new patrons, executing grant writing initiatives, orchestrating marketing and communications strategies, and refining the organization's branding for enhanced visibility and impact.
We collaborated with an international non-profit to establish and oversee a U.S.-based 501(c)3 organization aimed at supplementing funding for the parent organization. In the capacity of Managing Director, we spearheaded the establishment of the organization, including building the board of directors and implementing a national fundraising infrastructure. Over a two-year period, our efforts culminated in successfully raising $1.8M in support of the organization's mission and initiatives. Subsequently, we transitioned responsibilities to a carefully chosen successor to lead the organization long-term.
We conducted a focused client engagement comprised solely of weekly, one-hour Zoom calls aimed at enhancing organizational strategy, advancing planning and execution, providing leadership coaching, and fostering board development.
We facilitated the launch of a new business venture by providing structured guidance, which included weekly, one-hour Zoom calls. Our comprehensive support entailed formulating a detailed launch and operational strategy, crafting a funding strategy, and delivering ongoing coaching to adapt strategies in response to a dynamic environment while providing essential leadership coaching to empower the founder for success.
We provided invaluable leadership support to a mid-sized non-profit by serving as interim Executive Director and leading the search for a permanent replacement. Throughout this six-month engagement, we guided the board in updating processes and procedures, spearheaded advancement initiatives and strategy, and provided leadership to the staff.
Our efforts culminated in successfully placing a full-time Executive Director, who remained in the position for over five years, overseeing the most successful period in the organization's history.
We have collaborated extensively with numerous private family foundations on various specialized projects. Our services ranged from providing strategic analysis to assess foundation effectiveness for some, to vetting potential grant recipients through comprehensive site visits, financial analysis, and leadership assessment for others.
One notable engagement involved assisting a family foundation in organizing, planning, and overseeing the debut of a large art exhibit in New York City. We played a pivotal role in orchestrating all aspects of the event, from the meticulous planning to the execution of the opening night presentation and unveiling event held in a historically curated space.
